Missions
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering will be accepted throughout December.

Operation Christmas Child, Samaritans Purse Ministries (Franklin Graham) was our Missions focus for November 2009. Shoeboxes were filled with small toys, school supplies, hygiene and other small items. More than 61 million shoeboxes have brought joy, hope and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in desperate situations around the world since 1993. Click on the pictures above to find out more about Samaritans Purse and Operation Christmas Child. As of Sunday, November 15th, there were 28 shoeboxes collected by our church supporting Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, a Franklin Graham ministry. Thank you for this tremendous response. Now be praying for the children who will be receiving these shoeboxes, and for God to touch their lives through this ministry.

Maguire State Mission Offering
September
The offering is named for Clyde and John Maguire, whose visionary leadership guided the Florida Baptist Convention through one of its greatest periods of growth and Great Commission outreach. He served as the sixth executive secretary-treasurer from 1945-67.
Understanding that the growing missionary needs in Florida cannot be met by Cooperative Program gifts alone, the offering compliments Florida Baptists’ commitment to the Great Commission and their mission field.
The offering has a missionary purpose-helping new congregations through no-interest church site loans, supporting partnership pastors and spreading the gospel through evangelistic ministries.
This year’s state mission emphasis, with the theme, “Unspeakable Joy, Amazing Generosity” will highlight six of the 27 ministries funded through the offering-interest-free loans for new churches, ministries to migrants, free medical clinics for the needy, church revitalization, evangelistic port ministries and partnership missions.
Without Florida Baptists’ gifts to the state mission offering, these 27 ministries-which serve to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to every person in the state-could not be done.
